Arlington will battle Allen East for the tournament championship at 7:30 p.m. today. Bluffton and Cory-Rawson will play in the consolation game at 6 p.m. Blufton led Arlington 31-28 going into the final frame, but the Red Devils were able to come back despite going just 3 of 7 from the free throw line. Jolliff also dished off three assists and had three steals for Arlington. Dani Heaster added nine points and 11 rebounds for the Red Devils, who extended their winning streak to 26 games. Sarah Schriner had 14 points for Bluffton. Paige Buroker added seven points and seven rebounds. PANDORA-GILBOA 42 LEIPSIC 22 LEIPSIC -- Ashley Williams scored 12 of her game-high 17 points in the first quarter and Pandora-Gilboa beat Leipsic 42-22 Friday in a Putnam County League girls game on the opening night of action. The win was also the first of Pandora-Gilboa head coach Jessica Liedtke's career. Williams, who made four 3-pointers and scored all of her points in the first half, helped the Rockets get out to a quick 16-3 lead after the first quarter and a 29-11 lead by halftime. Keri Conine also had a solid game for Pandora-Gilboa with 12 points. Megan Maag hauled in eight rebounds. New Riegel held Vanlue to 5 of 35 shooting from the field and forced the Wildcats into 28 turnovers. Taylor Arbogast and Kara Scherger led a balanced Blue Jackets' scoring effort with 11 points apiece. Eight New Riegel players scored. Scherger added four assists and four steals. Siefker, a senior center who has signed to play at Bowling Green State University, scored 24 of Ottoville's first 45 points. Rachel Beining contributed with 15 points for the Big Green (1-0), who held the Cougars (0-1) to just seven first-half points. Ottoville will face Convoy Crestview in the tournament championship today. Melissa Michel had a big double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds as well as six assists. Brandi Gerschutz scored 10 points and had six assists. Haley Lammers grabbed nine rebounds. North Baltimore held a 26-21 halftime lead, but Otsego outscored the Tigers 19-10 in the third period. Kim Forshey (13 points), Jessica Roberts (12) and Morgan McCullough (11) each hit double figures for the Knights, who made 20 of 33 free throws. Megan Wright led North Baltimore with 16 points and Ricci Emahiser chipped in 15.
