Local Sports from The CourierSaturday, November 24, 2012Hockey: FHS rolls to 6-3 victorySYLVANIA -- Andy Martin scored two goals and Connor Curlis and Mason Williams had a goal and an assist each to power Findlay High's hockey team to a 6-3 win over Fremont on Friday in opening round action of the Northview Cold Turkey Tournament played at Sylvania's Tam-O-Shanter Arena. Zach Wohlgamuth and Noah Hindall also had goals. Ethan Willis had two assists, and Martin and Mitch Perry collected one each. With the game knotted 2-2, Findlay scored two goals in a 21-second span to blow things wide open. The Trojans won each of the three periods and earned five points for the win. Findlay will play two games today, with the top teams in the event advancing to championship and consolation matches on Sunday. Tim Koch made 19 saves to get the win in goal for Findlay.
