The Trojans, 16-2 overall and 6-1 in the league, and St. Ursula (16-1, 7-0) will be the two top-seeded teams when the first round of the TRAC tournament gets under way Thursday at Toledo Notre Dame. Krucki was 15 for 18 spiking and 14 for 15 serving with nine digs. Schleucher was 14 for 18 spiking and led the Trojans with three blocks. Twining (13-16 spiking, 11-11 serving) and Brittanne Burnside had six digs each. Abby Stine was 13 for 14 serving and had 17 assists and four digs, while Emily Lauth was 13 for 13 serving and had 10 assists and five digs. LEIPSIC 3 ARCADIA 0 LEIPSIC -- Leipsic's volleyball team stayed in title contention in one league and prepped for a possible championship showdown in another by rolling to a 25-8, 25-14, 25-19 Blanchard Valley Conference win over Arcadia on Monday. Leipsic, ranked 14th in the state in the latest Division IV coaches poll, improved to 14-2 overall, 6-1 in the BVC and remained tied with 17th-ranked McComb (16-3, 6-1) for second place in the BVC standings, a game back of Liberty-Benton (15-2, 7-0). The Panthers and Vikings square off next Monday at McComb. Leipsic will be looking to enhance its chances for a Putnam County League championship on Thursday when the Vikings, 4-0 in the PCL, host Kalida (14-4, 3-0 PCL). Haley Gerten hammered 17 kills and Kelly Nadler and Amber Gerdeman (5 blocks) had 11 each in Leipsic's win over Arcadia. Nadler also had three blocks and 24 digs.
