Boys Soccer: Findlay falls 8-1 to St. John's
TOLEDO -- With Toledo St. John's already leading 3-0 after the first half of Tuesday's Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys soccer game, the Titans' Nick Gramza scored three goals in the second session en route to an easy 8-1 win over Findlay High.

Jeff Anderson scored the first of his two goals and Camden Buescher and Matt Almester each added a goal to stake St. John's to a 3-0 halftime lead.

St. John's added Gramza's trifecta, Anderson's second goal and one by Ian Baird in the second half to shut the door on Findlay.

Max MacDonald scored the lone goal for the Trojans (7-3-3, 3-1-2 TRAC).

The Titans unloaded an assault of 22 shots on goal, and Findlay goalkeeper Clayton Hildebrand managed seven saves for the Trojans.

Findlay never found its groove on offense, recording just four shots on goal.

LIBERTY CENTER -- Drew Recker and Tristen Niese gave Miller City a 2-0 lead at the break, and Russell Niese doubled that with two second-half goals as the Wildcats blanked Liberty Center 4-0 on Tuesday in nonleague boys soccer action.

Miller City (6-6-0) outshot Liberty Center (1-8-2) 12-4. Four saves by Austin Lammers earned Miller City the shutout.

CONTINENTAL -- Brodie Nofziger scored two goals Tuesday to help Archbold top Continental 4-2 in a nonconference boys soccer match.

Continental's Dallas Geckle scored a goal and added an assist on a score by Zach Schwarzman.

David Bontrager and Shae Hernandez also recorded goals for Archbold.

KALIDA -- Devin Kortokrax scored two goals and four other Kalida players got one each in the Wildcats' 6-1 nonleague boys soccer win over Cory-Rawson on Tuesday.

Kalida outshot Cory-Rawson 15-2 and got one save from goalie Brent Hovest in impoving to 10-1-3 on the season. Jason Sands had the lone goal for Cory-Rawson (4-8-2).

Dillon and Sam Berry took care of all of the scoring for Heritage Christian on Tuesday as the Minutemen posted a 6-3 Buckeye Christian Schools Association boys soccer win over Lima Christian Academy.

Both Berrys netted three goals for Heritage (3-3-1). Kenneth Lee and Josiah Long had two assists and Sam Berry had one.
