Elmwood Volley For The Cure BLOOMDALE -- The Elmwood volleyball team will host a Susan G Komen "Volley For The Cure" event on Tuesday when the Royals entertain Lake, beginning at 6 p.m. The night will feature over 25 themed baskets, a 50/50 raffle, a raffle for a handmade commemorative quilt donated by middle school secretary Beth Bateson, Volley For The Cure merchandise and bake sale. H-L Winter Sports Meeting BASCOM -- Hopewell-Loudon will conduct its winter sports parent meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15. The meeting is mandatory for all junior high and high school parents and athletes who are planning to participate in basketball, wrestling or cheerleading.
