The Bulldogs (4-4, 3-3 NWC), who stayed alive in the Region 18 playoff picture, surged ahead 36-6 by halftime. Colin Grothaus (10-20 passing, 159 yards, 3 TDs) had a solid performance. Derek Rieman (4 yards), Dakota Vogt (32 yards) and Blake Hoffman (25 yards) each hauled in scoring strkes from Grothaus. Meanwhile, Joey Warnecke (6 carries, 129 yards) and Vogt did some major damage on the ground. Warnecke had 66-yard sprint for a TD and caught a 3-yard scoring pass from Jace Darbyshire. Vogt had touchdowns of 42 and 5 yards in the first quarter. Julian Salinas threw for 111 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 119 yards for the Panthers (0-8, 0-6). Ada, the No.3 team in the latest Associated Press Division VI poll, improved to 8-0 overall, 6-0 in the NWC. The Bulldogs finish the season at home, hosting Delphos Jefferson and unbeaten Lima Central Catholic. Decker scored on a pair of 1-yard runs and a 36-yard pass from Mason Acheson. Acheson also threw TD passes to Matt Wilcox, Jacob Ansley and Micah Roberson. Ada racked up 352 yards passing and 96 rushing while Allen East picked up 258 yards rushing and 30 passing. The Pirates held a 10-3 lead at halftime after Matt Deter tied the school record with 45-yard field goal with 57 seconds in the half. The second half was all LCC (8-0, 6-0 NWC) as Jon Washington scored twice in the second half and finished with 134 yards on 20 carries. Collin Stolly tossed second-half touchdown passes of 39 yards to Darius West and 79 yards to Sam Huffman for LCC, ranked No. 3 in the Associated Press Division V poll. Robbie Stratton scored the lone Bluffton touchdown on a 24-yard interception return. However, the Pirates (3-5, 2-4) only managed 139 total yards while committing four turnovers. Zach Wilson gained 81 on the ground.
