WBL Football: O-G nets easy 62-0 triumph
ST. MARYS -- Ottawa-Glandorf was rough on the Roughriders Friday night, building a 42-0 halftime lead and blitzing St. Marys Memorial 62-0 in Western Buckeye League action.

O-G climbed to No. 2 in The Associated Press Division IV state poll this past week.

The Titans played like it Friday, amassing 484 yards total offense, limiting St. Marys to 158 yards and capitalizing on three turnovers to remain unbeaten at 8-0 and alone atop the WBL standings at 7-0.

The Titans, who have never had a 10-0 football season, are at Lima Bath (5-3, 4-3) next Friday and complete regular-season play at home against Van Wert (0-8, 0-7) on Oct. 26.

Tristan Parker rushed for 133 yards and four touchdowns for O-G, scoring on 21-, 11-, 1- and 34-yard runs.

Quarterback Caleb Siefker (3 carries, 63 yards), and back-up backs Shane Schroeder (5 carries, 93 yards) and Brad Racer (3 carries, 54 yards) had rushing TDs as well.

Siefker was 11 for 17 passing, including a 19-yard touchdown pass to Alex Westrick. Josh Buckland scored O-G's other TD on a 77-yard punt return.

Dakota Knous led St. Marys with 68 yards rushing on eight carries. The Roughriders managed just 93 total yards on the ground, however, in falling to 0-8 overall, 0-7 in the WBL.
