BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- University of Findlay freshman Kaley Holmstrom capped a solid weekend in the pool by finishing eighth in the 200-yard breaststroke on the final day of the NCAA Division II swimming and diving championships in Birmingham, Ala.

Holmstrom, from Rutherfordton, N.C., set a school record in the event as she posted a time of 2:19,98. It was her second All-American award of the weekend as she posted a school-record sixth-place effort (1:03.91) in the 100-yard breaststroke on Friday.

She is just the third UF female swimmer in school history to earn multiple NCAA Division II All-American awards.
