Bluffton Mayor Stepping Down To Take New Job

Bluffton's mayor is stepping down. Eric Fulcomer announced Monday he's taking a job in Illinois to serve as the vice president of enrollment management at Rockford College. Fulcomer's resignation will be effective March 1. At that time Council President Dennis Gallant will take over. Fulcomer says the village solicitor will offer an opinion on March 11 on whether Gallant will become the mayor or will have the interim tag on the title until another election can be had.
