Carey Home Destroyed In Tuesday Fire

Fire destroyed a home near Carey early Tuesday. Firefighters were called to 15773 Crawford Township Road 20 around 3:30 a.m. where they found the house engulfed in flames. Everyone in the home was able to get out safely. It's believed the fire started in the utility room of the house, but no specific cause has been determined yet. A married couple and their son were given food and shelter from the Red Cross. They were also given winter coats and comfort kits.
