Bid Deadline For Road 5 Expansion Pushed Back

The Putnam County Commissioners aren't quite ready to move forward with the next phase of the Road 5 widening project. The Putnam County Sentinel reports the bid date has been pushed back a month. Yesterday was going to be the deadline, but contractors will have until 9:30 a.m. March 21 to submit their bids. The second phase of the project includes widening and resurfacing five miles of Road 5 between State Route 12 to U.S. 224.
