Be honest, how much time do you spend a day on your computer, smartphone, or tablet? Probably too much according to author and speaker Janice Bastani. She appeared on WFINat10 today and talked about how as a society we've started spending more time with our phones than each other... (Audio Below)
Bastani, whose book "Eve: Reclaim Your Power" addresses electronic oversaturation, says a big mistake we make is confusing time spent goofing off on an iPad as true relaxation. She refers to the problem as "techno isolation," and says it's a growing issue... (Audio Below)
Bastani says one thing you can do to reclaim your life is designate certain times of the day to be on your device, and then put your phone in a different room when you aren't using it.
