A found taser that was apparently missing from the Allen County Sheriff's Department has Sheriff Sam Crish wondering how one of his deputies lost it and why they didn't report it missing. The Lima News reports a West Middle School Student found the taser on February 21 near Cable and Allentown roads and turned it in to Principal Steve Carr. After keeping it five days, Carr gave it to a Lima Police officer at a basketball game who determined that the police department was not missing a taser. The officer then called the sheriff's office. Sheriff Crish said he will be looking into the matter and also why Carr waited five days to turn it in.
