Stober Found Guilty On Five Counts

A former Kalida volleyball coach has been found guilty of having sexual contact with former players and students.  The Putnam County Sentinel reports Jeremy Stober was found guilty on sexual battery, three counts gross sexual imposition, and importuning.  Charges of tampering with evidence, gross sexual imposition, and attempted sexual battery were dropped.

The case came to light last May when Stober was put on leave when the allegations initially arose.  Formal charges were filed in August.  Five former Kalida High School students said Stober had inappropriate contact with them, which included texts, pictures and video.

Sentencing will be held at a later date.
