Woman Hit By Car In Whirlpool Parking Lot

A car hit a pedestrian in the parking lot of a Findlay manufacturer this morning, sending one person to the hospital.  The Hancock County Sheriff's Office reports 21-year-old Ely Verhoff of Pandora was driving in the parking lot of Whirlpool around 6:15 a.m. when she turned a corner and hit Lucina Meisner, who was walking in the lot.  Lucina was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of her injuries.  The accident remains under investigation.
