Findlay Ranked Second In U.S. By Site Selection Magazine

Findlay has been ranked the second best micropolitan community in the U.S. for new and expanding facilities for 2012 by Site Selection magazine. Findlay-Hancock County Economic Development Director Tony Iriti recently commented on the selection..

The magazine ranked 576 of the nation's micropolitan communities. The Findlay-Hancock County region has ranked well for many years and moved up from a 6th place ranking in 2011. Iriti described the criteria for which Site Selection Magazine bases its rankings..

Iriti said that out of 18 projects submitted to the magazine as qualifying criteria, 15 of those projects qualified. Iriti said it was good news for Findlay to jump in the rankings while a number of the metropolitan areas in Ohio had actually decreased in qualifying projects.
