Putnam County Residents Warned About Break-Ins

Putnam County residents are being warned about a series of break-ins happening in the southern part of the county. The Putnam County Sentinel reports Kalida Village Council was given an update from police chief Jim Gulker, who said thieves have been targeting properties around Vaughnsville and Rimer. Gulker says the break-ins have involved unattached garages at homes, since the garages often don't have security systems.
