Some residents in Bowling Green are asking what the city is going to do about a growing population of deer within the city limits. The answer, according to the Sentinel-Tribune, is not much of anything. That's because the Ohio Department of Natural Resources manages the state's deer population, not individual cities. Chris Gajewicz, is BG's natural resources coordinator and tells the newspaper he expects the population to continue to increase. He says the best thing people can do is not set out food for the animals.
