County Commissioners Say Working Relationships Are Good

Last week's agreement between the Hancock County Commissioners and Hancock County Engineer Chris Long on the design for a new county garage is an example that elected officials are working together to get things done.  That's according to commissioner Phil Riegle who appeared on WFINat10 today to give an update on county business.  He said the talks weren't as heated as some may have thought... Riegle says it looks like about a million dollars was shaved off the cost for the new county garage.  If all goes according to plan the new facility could be open by November.

Speaking of working together, Riegle says he believes the commissioners relationship with the Findlay-Hancock County Alliance is working well too... (Audio Below)

That breaks down to $5,000 for the economic development and $5,000 for the Small Business Resource Center activities.  Riegle says the county is able to contribute other ways in terms of zoning and taxes incentives.
