Two Summer Camps Offer Challenges For Students

Registration for two summer camps is taking place now for students that are looking for challenges. Judy Withrow, Coordinator for the gifted programs in Findlay City Schools talked about Camp Discovery coming up in June..

Camp Discovery is for students in grades one through five and will take place June 10th through 14th. Sign up is Thursday, March 14 and there is room for only 120 students. Camp World takes place later in the summer and gives students the opportunity to learn about different countries and cultures. Withrow says this year students will be learning about different regions in our own country..

One hundred students will be admitted to Camp World which takes place July 29 through August 2. The registration date is also this Thursday, March 14th. There is a fee but scholarships are available for eligible students.
