Subcontractor Fails To Pay Employees For Work At Schools

The father of a painter who did work on the new middle schools addressed Findlay's Board of Education Monday, saying he along with several other painters have gone unpaid for their services..

Dr. Dean Wittwer said Global was subcontracted for painting work by the general contractor, Alvada Construction. John Eddinger, who addressed the board expressed his frustration with the process. Wittwer said even though the district's responsibility has been taken care of, the administration will continue to keep pressure on the construction manager..

John Eddinger, the father of one of the unpaid workers, said his son created a mural inside of the new Glenwood Middle school.
