Tiffin Police Warn Of Rash Of Credit Card Fraud

A rise in complaints of credit card misuse in the Tiffin area has police asking area residents to watch their statements closely for unauthorized charges..

We spoke to Lt. Aaron Russell of the Tiffin Police Department and he said you must ask all authorized card users to see if they know about the purchases. If they are not authorized purchases Lt. Russell suggested that you gather at least two months worth of statements and contact your local law enforcement agency. Getting your money refunded depends on the bank that issued the card however there is a way you can protect yourself if you frequently make purchases online..

Credit card companies have been issuing separate numbers for several years to online shoppers to combat credit card fraud.
