Arcadia School Receives Donation For Weight Room

A donation and bequest is bringing an expansion to a weight room at Arcadia School closer to reality. The Arcadia Athletic Boosters presented check for nearly $84,000 to the board of education on Tuesday. Club president Leann Baker said more donations are expected to come in. The donation will be coupled with $208,000 bequeathed from the James Beeson estate earmarked for athletic purposes according to the Courier.
