PUCO Approves Rail Crossing Upgrade In Hardin County

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio approved construction authorization from the Ohio Rail Development Commission directing Chicago, Ft. Wayne & Eastern Railroad to install lights and gates at a grade crossing on County Line Road/County Rd. 15 west of Ada on the Hardin-Allen County line. The railroad will be responsible for completing construction of the upgrade by December 20. Funding for the project will be provided by federal funds.
